Luxury Design Apartment Riga Overview
You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I walked into Luxury Design Apartment Riga, I completely forgot I was staying in what’s technically a 3-star spot. Honestly, that 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re actually there – it’s one of those places that just gets everything right without trying too hard to impress you.
The location on Lāčplēša street is pretty brilliant, actually. I mean, you’re right in the heart of things but it’s not touristy-chaotic like some of the Old Town spots can get. There’s this great little coffee place literally around the corner (locals seem to know about it), and you can walk to basically anywhere worth seeing in Riga. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – the building itself seems solid, none of that thin-wall nonsense you sometimes get with apartment-style accommodations. The design element they mention in the name isn’t just marketing fluff either. Someone clearly spent time thinking about how the space actually works, not just how it photographs. The kitchen setup is smart – proper counter space, decent appliances that actually function – which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights or just want to grab groceries instead of eating out constantly.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no hovering or overselling of services. The whole vibe feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying in a hotel, which I guess is exactly what they’re going for. There’s attention to detail in weird little ways – good lighting for actually reading, enough outlets where you need them, shower pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices. I stayed during shoulder season in late spring, and the neighborhood had this nice energy without being overrun. You’ll probably want to book ahead if you’re coming during White Nights or the holidays because spots like this – the ones that actually deliver on their promises – tend to fill up fast. The value proposition here is solid; you’re getting a genuinely well-designed space in a great part of Riga for what you’d pay elsewhere for something way more generic.

Reviews of Luxury Design Apartment Riga
Superb – Matthew from Finland – 24 February 2025 (9/10)
Location was good, lots of shops/restaurants /bars close by . Apartment was extremely pleasant, tastefully decorated throughout with high quality furniture and fittings. Bath was a highlight for the family. Communication with the owner was quick and pleasant too. Easy to get into the apartment building and good guide to find the apartment itself
What could be improved: The front door was difficult to close properly… but a very small issue!Exceptional – Aleksei from Russia – 7 January 2025 (10/10)
