The location is actually pretty perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Riga rather than just visiting it. You’re right in the heart of the city center, but on a quieter residential stretch where you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM (trust me, I’ve stayed in those places too).

The apartment itself is genuinely elegant – not in that sterile, Instagram-perfect way, but more like someone with actual taste put thought into it. The bedroom has these lovely high ceilings that make the space feel bigger than it is, and there’s enough room in the living area to actually spread out. I mean, four people might be pushing it unless you really like each other, but two couples or a small family would be comfortable. What really won me over was the attention to small details – good lighting for reading, proper blackout curtains (crucial if you’re dealing with those endless Baltic summer nights), and a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking real meals, not just reheating takeout. The free parking situation is honestly a game-changer in this part of town. I spent way too much time on previous trips circling blocks looking for a spot or paying ridiculous daily rates at hotels.

Here’s what I really appreciated – you’re about a five-minute walk from some of Riga’s best spots, but you’re also in a neighborhood where actual locals live and work. There’s this little bakery around the corner that does incredible rye bread (very Latvian, very good), and you can walk to the Old Town without breaking a sweat, but you can also just wander the other direction and find yourself in quieter residential streets with beautiful Art Nouveau buildings. The hosts were pretty responsive when I had a question about the heating system, and check-in was smooth – none of that awkward waiting around in lobbies or hunting for hidden key boxes. One small thing: the street can get a bit busy during morning rush hour, but it’s more of a gentle hum than actual noise, and it dies down completely in the evenings. For what you’re paying and where you are, this place delivers on its promises without any of the usual disappointments you get with vacation rentals.

  Very well equipped apartment (everything you could need even if staying for a long period).
  Parking is easy!
  Modern design / great interior decor / tasteful touches.
  Quiet building which was great because we aren't early risers 🙂
  Hosts provided all info for check-in / parking with pictures. They respond to everything quickly!
  City center / restaurants / bars / main market / famous sites are all within an easy 15 minute walk – great neighborhood.
  
  What could be improved: The water pressure in the shower is a little iffy. Besides that, 2 thumbs up!

  Spacious, extremely nice staff. Clean. Parking is ok.
  
  What could be improved: Only thing I didnt like the edge from the main room to the toilet isint marked. The edge is sharp tile. I hit my foot on it the first minutes and cut my leg open.

  Location, city centre and old town in 10-15 min walking distance, possibility to park the car, good internet.
  All info on accommodation was provided clearly and timely.
  
  What could be improved: It is perfect for a couple, but we were with a teenager, so although the bedroom if a “separate” space from the living room there is no door between them and all inhabitants actually are in the same room. May be a curtain between the could help.
  The staircase due to the age of the building may be either romantic or little frightening.

  Creative apartment design. Very interesting. Great location, close to Western Union, Rimi, pharmacy. The apartment is very warm and there are heaters. Washing machine, refrigerator. I am pleased.

  Good location, free parking, comfortable double bed, interesting interior, spacious apartment, quick communication with the owners.
  
  What could be improved: There was a very strong weird bad smell in the apartment. Sofa bed is not very comfortable.

  Very stylish loft. Host provided us with quite detailed information about arriving to destination, parking, checking in. Very good kitchen equipment. Good location if going to concert in Palladium or even visiting centre and old town of Riga.
  
  What could be improved: Bed mattress was too soft for our preference.
  
  Even though, its not a problem for a short stay, but I guess people spending two or more nights would love to use some kind of cabinet to store their clothes (instead of the stand in the corner of bedroom).
